When was LaGuardia Airport built?
Opened in 1939, LaGuardia Airport was built on the site of the old Gala Amusement Park. Once called the Overseas Terminal, and then the Marine Air Terminal, Terminal A was the original airport terminal building, serving international flights throughout the 1940s. Terminal B, also known as the Central Terminal Building, opened in 1964 followed by Terminals D and C in 1983 and 1992, respectively.
Where is the pickup area for car services at Terminal B?
Customers should go to the west side of the Arrivals level in Terminal B (next to American Airlines and the West Food Court) to access the walkway to the Terminal B Parking Garage which was opened in February of this year.
How do I exit the airport from Terminals C and D?
Customers can now access the east side of the airport by using the new flyover ramp from the eastbound Grand Central Parkway Exit 7.
